Our First Anniversary Gift to the City of Perris

22-05-2011
In honor of the city of Perris's 100th anniversary, the Perris Valley Museum Historical Archives presents its first weekly feature showcasing the city's history through documents.
In celebration of the city of Perris's 100th anniversary this year, the Perris Valley Museum Historical Archives kicks off a six-month online tribute to the city's history through relevant historical documents held in the facility.

This week's highlight is the Incorporation Document.  Found by archivist Christina Perris in one of the collections held in the facility, the document identifies the city's first elected officials, as well as the city's incorporation date, which is listed as April 26, 1911.

To view our first featured document, please click here and check back each week under our City Centennial section to see what new treasure of Perris's past we have to showcase.
